MY CLASS CRYPTOCURRENCY
My students can get ticket points for doing several good deeds and accomplishments. However as a computer science course I thought it would be fun to create our own class cryptocurrency.
How does it work?
The value of our crypto market updates automatically once each day after 9:00 AM Eastern using the S&P 500 proxy, buy/sell pressure, and supply pressure. I as the teacher can still apply a manual class bonus or penalty. So perhaps one day 1 crypto is worth 3 tickets, and then the next day its worth 3.4 tickets. You can also view the block ledger to see what changes have occurred.It all can change which adds to the fun!
