THE TRAIN LAYOUT DESK
Over the pandemic I purchased (for a very cheap price) an unfinished desk which opened up to reveal a model train layout underneath. The train layout scale is called ‘N-Scale” which is a ratio of 160 to 1. That basically means if you made the models 160 times bigger they would be life size. To complete the desk I had to build a couple new drawers that were missing, sand and paint, and alsp get some new hardware. Rewiring the track, painting and making buildings, planting trees, rocks, and other scenery were also part of the restoration process. It was a really fun project and helped get me off the computer during the pandemic, view some photos of the desk layout below!
