CRAFT PROJECTS
I have always loved creating things whether thas is digitally or by hand. Here are some of my arts and crafting projects that give me a break from being on the computer.
MEXICAN TILE CHESSBOARD
I bought some one inch Mexican tile pieces and cut and stained some wood. It was actually not too difficult to make considering I didn’t have to make or paint the tiles. The pieces however I did buy online. I don’t think I could ever make chess pieces that nicely.
THE SECRET TRAIN DESK
Over the pandemic I purchased an unfinished desk which opened up to reveal a model train layout underneath. It took some wiring, scenery work, painting, and detailing but I think it came out really nice. Click to view more photos.
THE CHILLY TRAIN CHRISTMAS TREE
I wanted something to decorate for Christmas so I bought an 18 inch diameter wood base and a small fake Christmas tree to create a mountain snow scene! I was surprised how well it all turned out. Click on the link to view more pictures.
ART-PIECE GUITAR PEDAL
This is a guitar pedal board that I hang on the wall as an art decoration when I am not using it. Click on the link to get a little more detail.
