MUSIC
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been playing music and I never stopped. Music has always been something I genuinely love and when I started making my own video games, I even wrote my own chiptune soundtracks for them. For me, that’s the magic of computer science, you can combine it with just about anything! In 2024, I even started a Weezer tribute band called Our Name Is Jonas, and now we play shows a few times a month just for the fun of it.
That’s what I try to show my students: computer science isn’t separate from your passions, rather it enhances them. Whatever you love: music, art, sports, storytelling, or anything else, you can build something with it. And when you combine coding with something you’re already excited about, it only makes it better!
